i got my ticket!

i leave for LA on May 9 and will hang out with grant for a few days (his birthday is the 11th)... then he will bring me to the the airport the night of the 14th. my flight leaves at 1:30 a.m. the 15th. my plan is to take some sleeping pills and try to get a lot of rest during the flight, because when i get to taiwan it will be 6:30 a.m. and then i can just be up and at 'em, hopefully avoiding nasty jet lag.

i'll be in a city called chungli (also spelled jungli or jhongli) in taoyuan county, which is northeastern taiwan. that is all i know!

i should be packing right now. ugh. not my favorite hobby, but one i spend a lot of time on!
