Mmm... spicy pad thai!
Breakfast the next day at Chez Papa's... complete with a French chef! He made chocolate-banana crepes for us! Tres delicieux!
We found kittens by the beach. Sarah and I are both cat-lovers and miss our cats at home (Wolfgang and Shadow: please don't feel betrayed. Playing with the kittens only made us miss you more! We will be home with you very soon!) so we were excited!
Taking a walk on the coast
The. Best. Stop. Sign. I've. Ever. Seen!
We did not want to leave this beach! The weather
is always the best on the day you have to leave!

Longshan Temple, Taipei
Near Snake Alley, in the night market. We ordered cakes on a stick (shaped like Hello Kitty, etc) and thought that "one piece" meant one cake. But it meant "a set of six" so we had lots of cake on sticks!
Lunch at my favorite restaurant in Jhongli, The Loving Hut, vegan food! These yummy meals are about $2.50 each! I go there A LOT!
Soy iced lattes with love!
It was so incredible to get to catch up with Sarah--in Taiwan! It had been about two years since we got to hang out! We will both be at home in Iowa this summer, though, so it won't be so long next time. And then... it's my turn to visit her in Switzerland, I think!
