Birthday dinner at "Papa's Secret Lover," a Hakkanese restaurant/hole-in-the-wall with amazing food!
Surprise cake! My friend Helen had brought the cake to the restaurant earlier, with a note that she had a Taiwanese friend write, "It's my friend's birthday and we will be eating here tomorrow night... Please light the candles and bring to our table after we're finished!" It was so cute! I was like... "wait a minute, there's no cake on Papa's menu!" I love surprises!
